The leader of the aviation club 'Odesa' Oborin died at the front — details.


In Odesa, Konstantin Oborin died — a veteran, volunteer, mentor who helped Ukrainian soldiers. He was 63 years old, but he actively supported the Ukrainian army since the beginning of the war against Russia. The veteran's death was confirmed by the Odesa City Council.

Oborin was a symbol of humanity, strength of spirit, and devotion. After the war in Afghanistan, he continued to help others, taught them to fly, and supported veterans. His death was a great loss for Odesa, where he was a pillar for many people.

What is known about Konstantin Oborin
Konstantin Oborin was known for his motto 'the sky heals'. He rescued 29 Ukrainian soldiers from captivity and also made a farewell flight over Odesa, scattering the ashes of Hero of Ukraine Vladislav Buvalkin — his student.

He led the aviation club in Odesa, was a mentor and volunteer. He was awarded the Order of Hryhorii Marazli of the III degree, but he valued people’s gratitude and love the most.

The veteran's daughter, Polina Oborina, announced his death on social media Facebook. She said it happened while performing a task.
'Unfortunately Kamikaze, our dad, grandpa, beloved husband, legendary warrior, living legend... is no more. This happened yesterday during an assignment,' the girl wrote.
Konstantin Oborin is a great loss for Odesa and the Ukrainian army. His activities and dedication to the struggle for the freedom and independence of Ukraine will remain in the memory of people forever.
