U.S. Special Representative Steve Vitkoff clearly states that Vladimir Putin does not plan to seize additional Ukrainian territories or attack other European countries. He believes in the Russian dictator that he is focused on peace, and this view is shared among Europeans. He discussed this in an interview with Fox News ahead of anticipated negotiations between Ukraine and the U.S. in Saudi Arabia.
The Trump special representative also hopes for real progress in the peaceful resolution of the conflict, particularly regarding a ceasefire in the Black Sea. He believes this could be the first step towards a complete cessation of hostilities.
Previously, Vitkoff had already emphasized the main issues that would be discussed during the negotiations on the ceasefire.
