How the attitudes of Odessans towards allies have changed over 4 years of war.

In the last four years, Ukraine has received significant support from the USA, EU countries, and NATO during the full-scale invasion. However, the population has varying attitudes towards these allies. Journalists surveyed Odessans about their emotions towards Western partners.
Many people believe that the external political context, although constant, does not affect their personal attitude. Despite the loud headlines and promises of foreign leaders, no real changes have occurred. Many citizens emphasize the importance of internal authority and addressing issues from within.
'Especially the attitude towards our foreign partners has not changed ... we must first think about the power within the country, not about Trump or others'
Some residents believe that the outside world has exhausted its capacity for support and shows no desire to continue assistance at the previous level.
There are people who are not interested in politics and consider world events remote. Some respondents do not see a direct connection between international events and their daily lives. They demand a simpler and clearer way of communication to become interested in important issues again.
'I am not very interested in politics, I am so bad at it that I cannot answer, I'm sorry'
Some respondents note that they have not seen any concrete actions from the West that could influence their position.
Overall, support from the West remains important at the state level, but among ordinary citizens, there are no clear signals and emotional presence of allies.
Ukraine receives support from Western partners, but citizens' attitudes can vary. Many believe that it is more important to address problems within the country than to rely on foreign aid. Some people are uninterested in politics and do not see any specific actions from Western countries that would impact their lives.
