What is the balance of forces in Sumy region: ISW data.

In the border areas of the Sumy region, Russian troops are twice as numerous as Ukrainian forces and are attempting to capture the village of Yunakivka as part of their offensive towards Sumy. This information was published by the 'Glavkom' website, citing an ISW report.
According to ISW, Russian forces are carrying out exhaustion attacks, as only eight out of 100 servicemen involved in attacks on Kindrativka have survived. The Russian command quickly regrouped its own forces for further offensive operations.
Additionally, Russian troops have advanced to the northwest of Kindrativka and within the central part of the village, as well as south of Andriivka. There are reports that Ukrainian forces are actively operating to the south and southwest of the village of Oleksiiivka in the Khotyn community of the Sumy district.
Russian troops continue their aggression in Ukraine, trying to seize new territories and conducting attacks on Ukrainian military personnel. The situation in the eastern part of the country remains tense, and Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression is critically important.
The Ukrainian authorities must enhance defensive positions and seek international support to deter Russian aggression in the eastern part of the country. Every act of aggression requires a firm response and the unification of Ukrainian society to protect national security and territorial integrity.
