On the night of August 30, the Russian Federation carried out an airstrike on an enterprise in Sumy. As a result of the attack, nine people were injured. This was reported by the Sumy prosecutor's office.
According to the investigation, on August 30, around 1:30, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers carried out an airstrike on an enterprise in Sumy.
«As a result of the occupiers' attack, preliminary data shows that nine people were injured. Currently, the aftermath of the fire is being dealt with», – the message states.
Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway for violations of the laws and customs of war.
It should be noted that on the night of August 30, the Russian Federation struck Ukraine with a ballistic missile and drones.
As reported, during the night, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Sumy, resulting in a fire. According to local authorities, the fire caused air pollution in certain districts of the city.
The city's residents are asked to tightly close windows and doors and, if possible, not to leave their homes until the complete elimination of the consequences of the enemy attack. It is noted that there are preliminary injuries as a result of the enemy strike. All emergency rescue services are working on eliminating the consequences.
It is worth mentioning that the Russian occupiers damaged an industrial enterprise in the Marhanets community of the Dnipropetrovsk region, and four «Shahed» drones were shot down over the region during the night.
Additionally, on the night of August 30, several explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. Later, Russia reported a drone attack in some regions.
