Austrian gas importer wins 230 million euros from 'Gazprom'.

Austrian company OMV wins a lawsuit for 230 million euros against 'Gazprom Export'
Austrian oil and gas company OMV has achieved victory in an arbitration case against 'Gazprom Export' related to the termination of gas supply under the 'German contract'.
The arbitration court decided to uphold OMV's claims and imposed an obligation on 'Gazprom' to pay compensation amounting to 230 million euros. This amount will be credited to settle OMV's obligations to 'Gazprom Export'.
OMV does not rule out the possibility of gas supply cessation from 'Gazprom', but the company is prepared for such a scenario. They have already created alternative gas supply routes from other sources and secured additional capacities to ensure deliveries.
Ukrainian media continue to report on the difficult situation regarding gas supplies to Austria and the possible cessation of supplies from 'Gazprom'. OMV states that even if supplies are halted, they will be able to deliver the contractually agreed volumes of gas to their clients.
