Recruitment Centers Welcomed 32 Thousand Potential Defenders.

In 2024, more than 32,000 Ukrainians contacted recruitment centers of the Ukrainian army for consultations on joining military service. Of these, 7,198 citizens are already candidates for the Defense Forces, undergoing the selection and document processing phase. The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that no summons were issued at the centers, and all consultations were conducted confidentially.
As of today, there are 47 recruitment centers operating in Ukraine, and in the last two weeks, with the support of the Ministry of Defense and local communities, two new centers have opened - in Volyn and Zhytomyr regions. Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Melnyk noted that in 2025 they plan to expand the network of such centers.
According to him, these centers have numerous advantages, including providing a transparent and convenient process for joining military service. Everyone who wishes to join the Defense Forces has the opportunity to choose their specialty and place of service, as well as receive an expanded package of benefits and social guarantees that even extend to their family members.
The largest number of appeals to recruitment centers was recorded from residents of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia regions, and the city of Kyiv.
