Is there a shortage of fighters on the front — what the General Staff says.

Military expert and former spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladyslav Selezniov, spoke about this in an interview with 'Focus'.
Shortage of fighters on the front lines
Selezniov noted that information regarding the staffing of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is classified. Mobilization is ongoing as planned. Recruits are undergoing combat training both in Ukraine and abroad.
The military expert also added that Ukraine is in a state of strategic defense. Under these conditions, there is no need for a large number of personnel on the front lines.
'We are in strategic defense under the cover of properly constructed engineering fortifications. In this situation, fewer personnel are required. These factors somewhat serve as a compensatory mechanism for us to stabilize on the battlefield with the available resources,' Selezniov explained.
It should be noted that the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko, responded to information regarding a new offensive by Russian troops, calling such rumors absurd.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that the Russians would not be able to capture the entire Donetsk region by the end of the year. Currently, the enemy's goal is to enter the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region and create another buffer zone.
In modern warfare, technology such as drones and artillery plays a key role. While some fighters indicate a shortage of personnel, the military expert believes that Ukraine is in a state of strategic defense, where the need for a large number of troops on the front lines is not as critical.Read also
