Forecaster Natalia Didenko shared the weather forecast for Ukraine on Friday, January 17.
Recently, an unusual temperature distribution has been observed in the region. The lowest night temperatures are recorded in the south, while daytime temperatures remain warmer in the south.
'An interesting observation. For several days now, there has been such an illogical (according to climate standards) thermal feature – it’s coldest at night in the south, while during the day (this is already closer to normal) it’s warmest',noted the forecaster.
The situation will not change on January 17. According to the forecast, cold air will spread overnight from west to east, covering the southern territories where frosts of 0-4 degrees are expected.

And during the day on January 17, the coldest areas are expected to have the highest air temperature of +1+5 degrees, while in other areas it will be 0+3 degrees.
In the Left Bank of Ukraine, wet snow and rain are expected, while in the Right Bank, no precipitation is forecasted.
During the day, strong northwestern winds are expected, so be careful.
In Kyiv, it will be cloudy with no precipitation at a temperature of 0+2 degrees throughout the day.
Didenko also forecasts that warm weather will follow in Ukraine, but the next cold snap with frosts is expected from January 23-24.
Earlier, it was reported that an anticyclone Beate with frosts up to -10 would linger over Ukraine.
