Up to 400 hryvnias per kilo: beef, lard, and sausage prices have jumped in Ukraine.

Meat and sausage prices have risen
According to information from the Minfin portal, supermarkets have set new prices for beef, lard, and boiled sausage at the beginning of March. These products, which are of great significance to Ukrainians, are becoming increasingly expensive.
During the past month, the average price of beef goulash increased from 316.12 UAH to 326.82 UAH per kilogram. The price of beef ribs also rose from 177.07 UAH to 185.90 UAH per kilogram.
The traditional Ukrainian product - lard - has increased in price from 232.47 UAH to 239.65 UAH per kilogram. The lowest price for lard can be found at MegaMarket for 200.30 UAH/kg, while the highest is at Novus for 279.00 UAH/kg.
The price of boiled sausage 'Alan Doctor' increased from 399.48 UAH to 399.87 UAH per kilogram, while 'Globino Doctor' rose from 296.74 UAH to 319.00 UAH per kilogram.
Prices for meat products continue to rise, negatively impacting the consumer basket of Ukrainian citizens. This creates economic difficulties for many families and requires searching for alternative options.
