The drone attacks took place in Russia
On the night of March 20, a series of explosions occurred in the Saratov region, caused by drone attacks. According to reports, the drones headed towards oil refining facilities in the city of Engels. Eyewitnesses reported a fire at the oil enterprise as a result of these attacks.
Earlier, the governor of the Saratov region warned residents about possible drone attacks. Currently, there is no information on the consequences of these attacks from the authorities.
It is worth noting that Engels has several oil-related enterprises, including the Crystal Plant, which supplies fuel to the Engels-2 military airfield where Russia's strategic aviation is based.
Also, on the night of March 20, explosions occurred in the Voronezh region. Local residents reported that air defense forces were actively working. Nothing is known about the consequences of the attack yet.
Recently, the Krasnodar region was also attacked by drones. Attempts by drones to reach the oil pumping station in Kropotkin were recorded. Eyewitnesses reported powerful explosions in the area of the oil refinery, which caused a fire due to falling debris.
Recall that recently Russian oil refineries, such as Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez, Ryazan Oil Refinery, and Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, were attacked by drones.
