Drones again attacked the Tula region.


A series of explosions occurred in the Tula region, local residents report. They heard at least 15 loud explosions, and later it was reported that a fire broke out.
The explosions started around two o'clock in the morning, local public reports said on January 18.
Tula region governor Dmitry Milyaev confirmed this information, stating that the air defense system was activated in the region. He also added that a fire occurred in a fuel storage tank at one of the industrial enterprises in the region.
Fortunately, there is currently no information about casualties.
Additionally, it should be noted that on January 14, the SBU and Defense Forces struck chemical plants, an oil refinery, and the warehouses of the Engels airfield in the Saratov region of Russia. Sources in the SBU report this.
According to sources, as a result of the joint special operation, there were hits:
- Alexinsky chemical plant (Tula region), where a large fire broke out after SBU drone strikes;
- ammunition depots (high-explosive bombs, guided aerial bombs, cruise missiles) at the Engels airfield in the Saratov region of Russia. SBU drones successfully attacked these targets, and they are still burning;
- Saratov oil refinery. A large fire also broke out there;
- Bryansk chemical plant, where missiles directly hit the site, resulting in a major fire with subsequent detonations.
Drones also attacked the Kaluga region on January 17. As a result of the attack, the Lyudinin oil depot of the 'Kaluganefteprodukt' company in Lyudino, Kaluga region, Russia, was damaged.
Regional governor Vladislav Shapsha reported that emergency services in Lyudino are eliminating the consequences of the drone attack.
Currently, there are no reports of injuries.
