Former US President Joe Biden to Attend Pope Francis' Funeral.

Former US President Joe Biden plans to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, which will take place in Vatican City on Saturday. This was reported by 'Glavcom'.
Biden will be accompanied by his wife Jill Biden. They have had long-standing personal and professional ties with Francis since his visit to the US in 2015.
Pope Francis began his papacy in 2013 during Barack Obama's presidency. However, Biden's spokesperson reported that Obama does not plan to attend the ceremony.
Also arriving in Vatican City will be former US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania. The couple's departure is scheduled for Friday morning.
It is expected that no less than 130 foreign delegations, including 50 presidents and 10 monarchs, will attend the funeral of Pope Francis on April 26 in Vatican City.
Among the participants in the ceremony will be US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Argentine leader Javier Milei, Prince of Wales William, King of Spain Felipe VI, and French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as other world leaders.
Prior to the arrival of distinguished guests, enhanced security measures were implemented in Rome and Vatican City - a round-the-clock no-fly zone has been established over the Italian capital, and sniper units have been placed on the roofs of buildings along Via della Conciliazione, which leads to St. Peter's Square.
It is recalled that Pope Francis passed away on Monday morning at the age of 88. His death was caused by a stroke amid chronic illnesses. Prior to Pope Francis' death, he was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia in February. During his stay in the hospital, Francis experienced four respiratory crises. According to doctors, his life was in danger twice. On March 23, Pope Francis was discharged from the hospital.
According to his will, Pope Francis will be buried in the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, rather than in Vatican City, where many of his predecessors rest. In a document published on Monday evening, he requested that his tomb be simple and without special decorations.
