Italy demands the removal of the Estonian representative from participating in 'Eurovision': what is the reason.

Scandals have arisen at the 'Eurovision' song contest even before its start in Italy. Political and public organizations are calling for the Estonian representative not to be allowed to perform at this year's competition in Basel, Switzerland. The reason is the calls present in the song, which are considered offensive stereotypes about Italy. Ukraine also has its scandals related to an artist who illegally visited occupied Crimea.
I find this song offensive for Italy and Italians as it uses old stereotypes about our country and cannot be presented at our contest.
Some facts about the performer
The performer, Thomas Tammeets, was born in Tallinn, in a poor Russian-speaking area of Kopli. In his work, the performer combines Russian and American cultures, using elements of Russian and sports styles in his performances.
I enjoy combining different styles and aesthetics in my work. It reflects my experiences and nostalgia for the 90s, which were post-Soviet times.
Ukraine will be represented by the band Ziferblat at Eurovision-2025 in Basel, where a new Code of Conduct for participants will be in effect.
