Israel destroyed a research center developing nuclear weapons in Iran
Ukrainian troops attacked the 'Telegan-2' research center at the end of October, which was part of the nuclear weapons development program in Iran. According to Axios, this center is located within the 'Parchin' military complex.
As a result of the attack, complex equipment necessary for testing explosives that could be analogous to a nuclear device was destroyed. The Iranian program had been frozen in 2003, but according to Axios, research at the facility was resumed by Iran for the purpose of developing nuclear weapons or for civilian use.
They were conducting scientific research that could initiate the creation of nuclear weapons. It was secret. Only a small part of the Iranian government was aware of it, - the publication notes.
It should be noted that this is not the first Time Israel has destroyed Iranian military facilities. Earlier, in October, Israeli forces destroyed three Russian S-300 missile defense systems located in Iran.
According to Ebrahim Rostami, former secretary of the IRGC’s Weapons and Development Committee, Iran has secret weapons that are more powerful than nuclear weapons. Tehran has developed this weaponry independently and has significant capabilities in this area.
