Kyivstar, Vodafone and Lifecell launched a new communication feature: how to activate it.

The National Commission for the Regulation of Communications (NCRC) announced the implementation of innovative voice communication technologies by three leading mobile operators in Ukraine. From December 2024, subscribers will have access to VoLTE and VoWiFi services, which will significantly improve the quality of mobile communication.
4G (LTE) technology goes beyond the ordinary understanding of mobile communication, offering not only high data transfer speeds but also a new quality of voice communication. 'Voice over LTE' (VoLTE) allows calls to be made over the 4G network, providing subscribers with better clarity and stability of connection compared to older technologies.
Especially useful is the 'Voice over WiFi' (VoWiFi) technology, which helps to solve the problem of weak mobile signal in challenging locations. Now subscribers can make calls over a wireless Wi-Fi network in areas with limited coverage, including basements, semi-basements, and other zones where traditional mobile signal is weak.
This new capability serves as an alternative to installing repeaters and avoiding potential interference for neighboring subscribers. To use the VoLTE service, you need to have a modern smartphone that supports this technology, and to connect to VoWiFi, you need to contact your mobile operator.
The implementation of new technologies indicates a consistent development of Ukraine's telecommunications infrastructure and the readiness of operators to invest in quality communication solutions for their subscribers.
Previously, in 'Diia', a new feature was launched for submitting complaints about the lack of communication or internet access.
