Lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan wrote about this on the 'Lawyers.UA' portal.

A citizen contacted the lawyer and shared his situation with a TCC fine.

'I updated the data in the reserve in October last year, then the employer's exemption appeared. Now I receive a notification that I did not update my data in Time and they offer to pay the fine with a discount,'

— explained the citizen.

The man asked whether such actions by the TCC are legal and whether he should pay the fine in this situation.

'Yes, there is indeed such a problem that looks like an offer to pay a fine,' — emphasized lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan in response to the citizen.

Purpose of sending such proposals from the TCC

The lawyer explained that in this case it is not worth paying the fine.

'Everything that happens is aimed at getting you to acknowledge the violation and pay 8,500 hryvnias. By the way, such notifications are sent even to those citizens who updated their data on time,' — noted Ayvazyan.
