Critical Increase in Attacks: Occupiers Intensify Shelling in Sumy Region.

At the beginning of 2025, the number of shellings in the Sumy region by Russian troops increased. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Artyukh during a television broadcast.
The peculiarity of these shellings was the use of FPV drones that had not been used before. 'In the last five days, the number of shellings in Sumy region has quadrupled to 338. The use of FPV drones is increasing, with over 130 now in operation. These are guided aviation bombs (KABs), Shaheds, and unmanned aerial vehicles,' Artyukh reported.
In addition to drones, the enemy is also using guided aviation bombs (KABs) and Shaheds. However, the Ukrainian air defense forces are successfully countering the attacks - in the last five days, 44 enemy drones have been destroyed.
