Looters robbed a house in Kryvyi Rih damaged as a result of shelling.


In Kryvyi Rih, looters robbed an uninhabited five-story building that was damaged by Russian aggression in November 2024. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'Suspilne. Dnipro'.
The robbers took advantage of the fact that no one lives in the building and began to steal from it. One of the residents reported that the offenders ripped off the front door and left tools at the scene.
Residents themselves blocked access to the attic and basement to stop the thefts.
We are homeless - people who lived in this building for 20-30 years. Everything is destroyed, and the remnants that remain are also being destroyed, taken away, - she stated.
Deputy head of the district administration Pavlo Hevel reported that two entrances of the building are unsuitable for living and will be dismantled. The other two are planned to be restored. The possibility of installing cameras and monitoring this building is also being studied.
Additionally, the spokesperson for the Kryvyi Rih police, Angelina Kradozhon, reported that three residents of the building have turned to law enforcement regarding theft from their apartments. A criminal proceeding has been opened under part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is known that for committing theft in conditions of martial law, offenders face 5 to 8 years of imprisonment.
Attack on Kryvyi Rih
Recall that on November 11, 2024, the Russian Federation attacked Kryvyi Rih. As a result of this attack, a multi-story building was damaged. This was reported by the chief representative of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military-Civil Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
According to S. Lysak, apartments from the first to the fifth floor of one of the entrances have been destroyed. People may be under the rubble.
Occupiers carried out a double rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih today, March 12. As a result of the strike, a 47-year-old woman who was riding in a trolleybus near the shelling site was killed.
Among the injured passengers is a 41-year-old woman who has already been taken to the hospital. The driver is in shock.
Seven people have been hospitalized, including two in serious condition, one in critical condition.
