A massive fire destroyed almost half of the village of Studenok in the Kharkiv region.


As a result of a large fire in the village of Studenok in the Kharkiv region, 308 houses were destroyed or damaged, which is almost half of the settlement. This was reported by the head of the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov.
«Three hundred eight houses here were destroyed or damaged by the flames – this is almost half of the village. The building of the elder's office was also burnt down. We are now documenting the destruction and losses, working with those who lost their homes. To obtain victim status, people turn to the police. According to Bolvinov, the police are actively working on researching every inch of the territory, using drones and walking around all the damaged yards. As a result of the fire, the building of the elder's office also burned down. Law enforcement officers are currently documenting the extent of the destruction and helping residents who lost their homes to obtain victim status.
It is known that the fire started in a forestry enterprise in the Donetsk region and quickly spread to Studenok due to strong wind gusts. The causes of the fire are being investigated by the police of the Donetsk region.
