Ukrainian tennis player's match at the 2025 Australian Open interrupted and postponed.


Ukrainian tennis player Kalinina started her match at the Australian Open
On January 15, Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina began her first round match in doubles at the 2025 Australian Open.
The Ukrainian and her partner Lucia Bronzetti (Italy) faced off against the duo Magda Linette (Poland) / Giuliana Olmos (Mexico).
Kalinina and Bronzetti won the first set with a score of 6:4. In the second set, Linette and Olmos took the first two games before the match was interrupted.
It is currently raining in Melbourne. As the girls were playing on court No. 8, which has no roof, the match had to be postponed to the next day.
The exact Time for the match resumption is still unknown, but the tennis players will continue playing on January 16.
On January 14, Kalinina started at the 2025 Australian Open in singles. In the 1/64 finals, she lost to Ons Jabeur 3:6, 3:6.
