The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched a flagship project in the field of artificial intelligence.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has launched the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence project, the first of its kind in the field of artificial intelligence. This project defines the directions for the development of artificial intelligence and provides a platform for testing and expanding AI technologies.
Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, asserts that Ukraine has all the necessary prerequisites to become a regional cluster for artificial intelligence. The WINWIN AI Center of Excellence is an important step in this direction as it brings together specialists and provides resources and innovations for implementing AI solutions in key sectors such as public governance, defense, medicine, education, and business.
Alexander Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for IT Development, notes that this initiative aims to make Ukraine one of the top three countries in the development and integration of AI in the public sector. For now, we are starting with the AI transformation of state structures and defense, and over Time, artificial intelligence should become an integral part of every strategic area, from medicine to education.
To achieve these goals, a number of innovative projects need to be implemented, such as the development of educational programs for training specialists in artificial intelligence, the development of technical infrastructure, and increasing government support, regulation, and funding. The development of international cooperation and the promotion of Ukrainian companies and products in global markets is also essential.
Within the framework of the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence project, an analysis of the sectoral direction and an initial review of the development of the artificial intelligence industry is being conducted, which helps in the development of AI technologies and strengthening Ukraine's position in the global AI industry.
This project is a significant step for Ukraine in developing artificial intelligence and implementing AI solutions in key areas. It will help improve the security, efficiency, and competitiveness of the country.
