The situation on the Shakhtarsk-Bohoyavlenka line is very difficult – DeepState.


The enemy attacked the settlement near Shakhtarsk, using equipment and infantry, and tried to break through to Velyka Novosilka. This information is reported by the DeepState project.
At least two offensives in the Shakhtarsk area. After lunch, a column of 8 armored vehicles reached the village and attempted to break through to Velyka Novosilka. 1 BTR was hit, the rest retreated. By the evening there was already a column of over 15 armored vehicles, which split in Zolota Nyva. Some tried to break through to Velyka Novosilka, but due to the detonation of the first vehicle, they decided to retreat. The fate of the other part of the column is unknown
In Bohoyavlenka, located a few kilometers from Shakhtarsk, the enemy deployed infantry yesterday in the area of a farm located west of the village. The fighting there continued until night, and the situation is being clarified by the Ministry of Defense.
There is no Time to draw conclusions. The enemy saw everything and in the coming days will increase the pressure. We hope that the commanders on the ground will have many questions
Earlier, DeepState reported that the Russians constantly attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Kurakhove on October 17, using three dozen military equipment. They also announced the capture of Maksymilyanivka near Kurakhove.
DeepState earlier reported that the Russian army continues to press on Kurakhove and is trying to break through Ukrainian positions to encircle the city.
In September, an increase in the movement of Russian equipment towards Vuhledar and Kurakhove was recorded.
According to an ISW report, due to weather conditions, Russian forces are slowing the offensive in the Kursk region but continue to advance in the Donbas.
