It is named the day when only one child may remain in Japan.

According to a new study by a professor at Tohoku University, by the year 2720, only one child under the age of 14 will remain in Japan. This will happen 100 years earlier than previously expected. Special online clocks have been created to show that the day when only one child will be left in the country will be January 5, 2720. Previous calculations had predicted this for October 27, 2821.
It is noted that currently only 11% of Japan's population is under the age of 15, while almost 30% of them are people over 65 years old.
Recently, the oldest person in the world who lived in Japan and was listed in the Guinness World Records passed away. In addition, the country is also concerned about the problem of gambling, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of appeals to the organization that deals with gambling addiction has increased elevenfold over the last five years.
