Unreal Economical: Experts Exposed Real Fuel Consumption of Premium Crossovers.

Fuel consumption is an important factor when choosing a car for many drivers. New models are usually more economical, but there are exceptions.
Experts from What Car? identified three crossovers that consume the most fuel in real conditions.
To evaluate real fuel consumption, tests are conducted in which various models undergo trials in laboratory conditions.
The tests include scenarios that mimic everyday driving conditions – city and rural roads, as well as highways.
Before the test begins, all cars are weighed and filled with fuel according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The temperature in the cabin is controlled – it is set to 21 degrees Celsius or the medium scale of the air conditioning. All additional electrical equipment is turned off.
Top 3 crossovers with the highest fuel consumption:
Audi SQ5 3.0 TFSI - 11.5 liters per 100 kmPorsche Macan Turbo Performance Pack - 11.2 liters per 100 kmMercedes-AMG GLC 43 - 11.1 liters per 100 km
The second-generation Audi SQ5 turned out to be the leader among crossovers with the highest fuel consumption. The manufacturer claimed that the average monthly consumption is 8.3 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers, but testing showed that the actual fuel consumption is 11.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
