New Geopolitical Rule: Where Russia is Pushed Out, Ukraine Emerges.

Ukraine and Syria Restore Diplomatic Relations
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha held negotiations with the leadership of the Syrian administration during his visit to Syria. He congratulated the Syrian people on the victory of the revolution and expressed Ukraine's readiness to start a new phase of cooperation with Syria. The possibility of creating joint enterprises, expanding trade in goods, exchanging technologies, and cooperation in the fields of cybersecurity and information protection was discussed. It was also emphasized Ukraine's experience in fighting dictatorship and its readiness to help Syria restore normal life.
In 2016, Kyiv closed its embassy in Damascus in protest against the crimes of Bashar al-Assad's regime, and in 2022, Ukraine completely severed diplomatic relations with Syria following Russia's recognition of the occupied territories of Donbas. However, the parties are now ready to restore cooperation and build a new phase of relations.
