Organization 'Doctors Without Borders' announced its exit from Russia.

The humanitarian medical organization 'Doctors Without Borders' ceases its activities in Russia
On Monday, the humanitarian medical organization 'Doctors Without Borders' (MSF) announced the cessation of its activities in Russia. This was stated in a press release published on the MSF website.
The announcement notes that after thirty-two years of work in Russia, 'Doctors Without Borders' were forced to cease their activities in this country.
According to MSF representatives, in August, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation sent the organization a letter with a decision to exclude the branch of the non-profit association 'Doctors Without Borders' (Netherlands) from the register of branches and representative offices of foreign non-governmental organizations in Russia.
It is noted that MSF has been working in Russia since 1992, implementing various programs in different regions of the country.
'Doctors Without Borders' operate worldwide and provide free humanitarian and emergency medical assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts, famine, epidemics, forced migration, and natural disasters in over seventy countries around the world.
The war and mobilization lead to insufficient qualification of medical workers in Russia
Recall that due to the war and mobilization, Russia is forced to attract unqualified doctors from Africa due to the lack of personnel. The medical system continues to deteriorate. According to British intelligence, the current shortage of qualified medical workers is explained by the fact that some of them have switched to working in the private sector, and others have left the country. After mobilization in September 2022, doctors were advised not to leave the country. About 2% of Russian doctors and medical workers decided to leave Russia to avoid conscription.
