Transition to summer time on March 30: Ukrainians explained whether they need to set the clocks forward.

The draft law on abolishing the seasonal transition to summer and winter Time, although adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, has not yet been signed by the president and therefore has not come into force. This was reported by MP Serhiy Demchenko.
The deputy noted that Ukrainians should not expect changes in the coming days, and expressing his position on the advisability of canceling the clock change, Demchenko stated that he does not support such a decision. He believes there is a scientific justification for the usefulness of seasonal time changes, which affect both citizens' health and the functioning of the economy.
Thus, this Sunday, March 30, Ukrainians will have to set the clocks one hour forward.
It is worth reminding that the transition to summer time will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 3:00 AM, when the clocks will be set one hour forward, despite the global trend towards abandoning this practice.
It should be noted that the law on abolishing the transition to summer and winter time in Ukraine is still waiting for the signature of President Volodymyr Zelensky, so Ukrainians will have to set the clocks according to the old rules.
Also, in Poland, the transition to summer time is scheduled for the night of March 29 to 30 - at 2:00 AM the clocks will be set forward to 3:00 AM, as EU member states have not yet reached a consensus on abandoning this practice.
