Double salary: some Ukrainians could receive up to 100% bonus.

Ukrainian teachers may receive a bonus of up to 100% of their salary
According to the information from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, teachers working in regions with military actions may receive additional financial compensation of up to 100% of their basic salary. This bonus is part of the material incentive system for teachers working in dangerous conditions.
According to the resolution of the Ukrainian government dated August 25, 2023, bonuses of 50% or 100% are provided for employees, including educators, who perform their duties in hazardous areas. It is important to emphasize that these bonuses are not mandatory for payment. Their implementation depends on the decision of local authorities and military administrations.
Heads of educational institutions bear personal responsibility for the targeted use of budget funds in the distribution of bonuses. Teachers who do not physically work in areas with military actions are not provided with this additional payment.
In 2025, an expanded package of financial support for teachers is planned. They will receive various types of additional payments, such as bonuses for pedagogical experience, allowances for the prestige of the profession, and bonuses. In addition, teachers working in high-risk areas will be granted a monthly bonus of 1000 hryvnias.
This system of financial incentives confirms the importance of the role of teachers, especially in difficult and dangerous conditions, and the necessity of adequate material rewards.
It was previously reported that Kyiv teachers did not receive the promised one thousand hryvnias.
