Romanian rescuers are searching for a Ukrainian who has been wandering in the mountains for several days.

The Romanian rescue service is searching for a citizen of Ukraine who got lost in the Marmaros Mountains. The man is at an altitude of over 1700 meters near the Pip Ivan Marmaros pass from the Romanian side. He called the emergency number 112 and reported his situation - he cannot orient himself in the area and is without food and water. Rescuers advised him to stay put, and the search operation began.
Back in February, Romanian rescuers searched for five citizens of Ukraine who were attempting to cross the border in the mountains and had not been in contact for 20 days. Three Ukrainians also got stuck in the Marmaros Mountains. They requested help, describing their condition - exhausted, hypothermic due to wet clothing and without food.
