Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi awarded paratroopers participating in combat operations in the Kursk region of Russia. This was reported by the command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, August 24, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi presented state awards and departmental distinctions to paratroopers of several brigades of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are conducting combat operations in the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
During his speech to the paratroopers, General Syrskyi emphasized the important role of the brigades of the Air Assault Forces in conducting assault and offensive actions. He also highlighted the significance of the Kursk operation for Ukrainians and the international community.
Thanks to you, thousands of civilian lives in the border areas were saved. I thank you, warriors, for your courage and dedication to the Ukrainian people
