Slovakia to Check the Transfer of Military Equipment to Ukraine.

Investigation Group Established in Slovakia to Check the Transfer of Military Equipment to Ukraine
An investigation group has been established in Slovakia to examine the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine. The group will review the actions of the Ministry of Defense and officials who facilitated the shipment of equipment worth hundreds of millions of euros during the last election period.
The Minister of the Interior of Slovakia, Matúš Šutaj Eštok, stated that the group will investigate the statements of legal and physical persons, as well as the report of the Supreme Audit Office, which revealed details of this agreement.
Šutaj Eštok described the transfer of equipment as 'arbitrariness', which has led not only to a decrease in Slovakia's defense capability but has also caused financial consequences. He emphasized that this situation requires strengthening state finances, as the government has suffered significant losses due to the uncontrolled transfer of equipment.
The decision to transfer equipment was made during the tenure of former Minister of Defense Jaroslav Naď, when Slovakia handed over a large amount of military equipment to Ukraine, including the S-300 air defense system, combat vehicles, helicopters, and other resources.
