Taiwan to Receive Battle-Tested Weapons from the US.

Taiwan to Receive New Weapons from the US for Defense Enhancement
According to an agreement between the United States and Taiwan, the island will receive several types of new weapons to strengthen its defense. Notably, Taiwan will receive three medium-range NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, which have undergone effective combat tests in Ukraine.
These systems have advanced AMRAAM missiles with a longer range. The sale of weapons aims to enhance Taiwan's security and maintain stability in the region. NASAMS are already in use by Australia and Indonesia.
Experts note that NASAMS is well compatible with other air defense systems and will significantly improve Taiwan's ability to withstand military pressure from China. Additionally, Taiwan's Ministry of Defense also anticipates the delivery of highly mobile artillery rocket systems HIMARS, which were successfully used by Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
The acquisition of new weapons will help Taiwan strengthen its defense and counter potential threats from China.
