U.S. President Donald Trump acknowledged that his promise to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours was 'somewhat sarcastic.'
Well, I was somewhat sarcastic when I said that. I wouldn't have ended it. In fact, what I meant was that I would like to end it, and I believe I can do it, - Trump explained.
The U.S. president also stated that his administration has a 'ceasefire agreement with the Ukrainian side' and is trying to achieve a similar agreement with Russia.
We have a ceasefire agreement with the Ukrainian side, and we are trying to achieve this with Russia. So far, in my opinion, everything is going well. More details will be known on Monday, - noted Trump.
When asked what would happen if Putin refuses to agree to a ceasefire, Trump stated: 'That would be bad news for the whole world, as so many people are dying.'
Let us remember, Macron urged the Russian Federation for a ceasefire with Ukraine: 'the tactic of dragging it out' must stop.
In addition, Zelensky named 3 priorities for Ukraine.
