EU confirms missile deal between Iran and Russia.

The European Union has reliable information that Iran is supplying ballistic missiles to Russia.
This was announced by EU spokesperson Peter Stano.
"We have received information from allies that is trustworthy about the supply of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia," Stano said.
He added that if this data is confirmed, the EU may introduce new sanctions against Iran.
This statement was made in the context of reports by The Wall Street Journal that Russia was receiving short-range ballistic missiles from Iran.
Ukraine has called on Iran to stop supporting the Russian military and warned of "devastating consequences" for bilateral relations if the missile supplies are confirmed.
Although Iran officially denies transferring missiles to Russia, Iranian MP Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani confirmed the fact of such supplies, calling it part of a barter deal that also includes drone supplies.
ISW also forecasts how Russia will use the missiles from Iran against Ukraine.
