Security measures will be strengthened in Kyiv and additional checkpoints will be set up.


Kyiv plans to increase the number of checkpoints and engineering barriers, as well as implement restrictive signs to enhance the combat readiness of the structures responsible for defense. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
Training to enhance combat readiness will be conducted in Kyiv jointly with the Kyiv City Military Administration, patrol police, and other units. The main goal of this training is to improve the management system and enhance cooperation between the departments to ensure public safety and protect the population.
Temporary checkpoints, restrictive signs, and engineering barriers will be installed in the city, where inspections of vehicles and citizens' documents will be carried out. Demonstration, search, and counter-diversion measures will also be conducted. All these actions are aimed at ensuring better preparation for the defense of Kyiv against potential threats.
'Such training in Kyiv will continue in a systematic manner. They are necessary to better prepare for the important task of protecting Kyiv and its residents from potential threats. Therefore, all structures, forces, and departments of the capital work daily to protect Kyiv and its residents!'
