In Germany, the former mother of Valeria received a life sentence for the child's murder
In Germany, the court decided to impose a life sentence on the former mother of 9-year-old Valeria from Pavlograd, who killed her child. The court recognises this crime as particularly serious and believes that she will never have the possibility of early release after 15 years of imprisonment. The convicted woman denied her guilt but was found guilty based on video footage of her car near the child's residence and the findings of her DNA and Valeria's DNA in the car.
It should be noted that Valeria disappeared on June 3, 2024, while on her way to school. Her body with signs of violent death was found a week later in the forest. A suspect - a citizen of Moldova - was detained in Prague.
