A fire occurred on the Sumy-Kyiv train: a railway worker died.


A fire broke out in car No. 115 of the Sumy-Kyiv train near the Putivl station, resulting in the death of a railway worker. However, none of the passengers were injured. The fire has been localized, and the causes of its occurrence are currently being investigated. The train continues to move with four detached cars. All passengers have been transferred to available seats in other cars. The delay is approximately one hour, but it will gradually decrease.
Passengers of the daytime trains A11 and A12 of the Kyiv circular electric train route from Darnytsia to Svyatoshyn were transferred at the Protasiv Yar station platform. The boarding and alighting locations for passengers at the Vokzalna station have also been changed.
In the Chernihiv region, Russian troops bombed a passenger train with drone strikes half an hour before its departure.
Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled additional high-speed Intercity train services for the Easter holidays.
On the occasion of the Easter holidays, an additional express branded train from Kyiv to Odesa and back has also been scheduled.
