In Vinnytsia, a driverless car hit a pensioner.


In the city of Vinnytsia, a traffic incident occurred, resulting in a pensioner being injured. The incident happened on Soborna Street when a 60-year-old VAZ driver parked in the yard but forgot to engage the handbrake. The car began to roll and hit a woman who was walking towards it. The 74-year-old victim sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
The car was seized, and the police initiated a pre-trial investigation in accordance with the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation. Such an offense is punishable by up to three years of restricted freedom with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles.
In the past, other accidents also occurred across Ukraine. In the Chernivtsi region, a clergyman caused an accident and attacked a patrol policewoman. In Kyiv, one of the cars overturned. And in the Khmelnytskyi region, a bus full of children overturned.
On the Kyiv-Chop highway, an accident also occurred involving a truck and a minibus.
