Ballistic missile strike by the Russian Federation on Kryvyi Rih: 12 dead and over 50 injured in a residential area.


On April 4, 2025, Russian troops carried out a missile strike in the center of a residential area in Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the attack, 12 people were killed, including 2 children, and over 50 were injured.
The head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported this tragedy. According to him, at 19:25 the number of victims had reached 12, and the number of injured exceeded 50.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed that as a result of this attack, 2 children were killed. 'This is yet another terror against the population that is trapped in the middle of warfare,' Lysak wrote in his message.
Witnesses report that after the explosion, people lay on the sidewalks, and as a result of the fire, buildings in the city were damaged. There are also mentions of damage to high-rise buildings.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, described this event: 'This is not warfare. This is terror against the population.'
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the threat of ballistic weapon use and a rapid target in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.
The missile strike occurred in the evening in a popular location within the residential neighborhood.
