Ukrainians will be transferred to a special tariff: how much will have to be paid for a kilowatt of electricity.


The Government of Ukraine has set an electricity tariff until January 30, 2025. According to the new rules, the main tariff will be 4.32 UAH per kilowatt. However, there is an opportunity to pay less if a special multi-zone meter is installed. The cost of the meter and its installation can positively affect overall expenses due to the reduced tariff. The transition to a special tariff happens automatically after the meter is installed.
If using a two-zone meter, the tariffs will correspond to the following schemes: at night (23:00-7:00) - 2.16 UAH per kWh, at other times - 4.32 UAH.
With the use of a three-zone meter, you can pay 2.5 times less at night, but you need to carefully plan electricity consumption during peak hours, when the cost is significantly higher.
The tariffs for different zones look like this: night tariff (23:00-07:00) - 1.728 UAH per kWh; semi-peak tariff (07:00-08:00, 11:00-20:00, 22:00-23:00) - 4.34 UAH per kWh; peak tariff (08:00-11:00, 20:00-22:00) - 6.48 UAH per kWh.
