The oil company 'Ukrnafta' has increased its gas and oil production indicators. Gas production rose by 6.5% to 1.170 billion cubic meters from 1.097 billion cubic meters. Meanwhile, oil production increased by 0.6% to 1.418 million tons from 1.410 million tons.
The overall increase in production, expressed in oil equivalent, amounted to 3% for the results of 2024. This means an additional 70.5 thousand tons of hydrocarbons, namely 2.42 million tons in 2024 compared to 2.35 million tons in 2023.
'Despite the prolonged power outages that limited mechanized oil production, the enterprise has managed not only to compensate for the natural decline but also to ensure an increase in oil and gas volumes,' said the director of PJSC 'Ukrnafta' Serhiy Koretsky. - 'I thank the company's team, which accomplished the impossible. Thank you for such results for the second year in a row.'
In 2025, 'Ukrnafta' plans to continue drilling new wells, update equipment by replacing Soviet-era technology with modern and technological solutions from world leaders, and also increase production.
