Umerov refused to comment on the possible use of Storm Shadow missiles for strikes against the Russian Federation.


The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov does not confirm information about the use of Storm Shadow missiles for strikes in the Kursk region. However, he emphasizes that Ukraine is capable of and will defend itself against any threats.
A representative of the UK Ministry of Defense also does not comment on this situation regarding the Storm Shadow missiles.
According to Bloomberg, Ukraine used these British missiles for the first Time against Russian targets in response to the deployment of Russian troops against it. Consequently, the UK government considers such a move by Moscow to be an escalation of the war.
On November 20, Russians reported strikes with Storm Shadow missiles. However, the publication by The Times regarding the lifting of restrictions on the use of these missiles by the United States has disappeared from the relevant source.
France and the UK were also considered countries that could provide Ukraine with Scalp/Storm Shadow missiles for strikes deep into Russia.
Moreover, US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to use American long-range missiles for strikes within Russia.
