In Ukraine, businesses and individual entrepreneurs will be mass-checked: who the tax authorities will target.

In 2025, the Ukrainian tax service will conduct a mass inspection of businesses and individual entrepreneurs. It is reported that 4700 inspections are planned, with the largest number of inspections expected in Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipro. In light of this, companies are advised to anticipate potential issues and check their financial reporting in advance. In total, about 400 businesses are planned to be inspected per month, with October being the most active month.
The total volume of planned inspections is distributed as follows:
- 3325 inspections (69.5%) will concern legal entities.
- 1028 inspections (21.5%) are planned for individual entrepreneurs.
- 266 businesses are expected to be checked, focusing on the payment of personal income tax, military tax, and social contributions.
- 167 inspections are planned for financial institutions and non-residents.
Particular attention will be given to companies from Kyiv, Odesa region, and Dnipropetrovsk region. Other regions will also be checked, but in smaller numbers. Inspections will cover several sectors of the economy, particularly wholesale trade, agribusiness, and food producers.
Experts recommend that entrepreneurs take several measures to minimize risks during the inspections: check the accuracy of accounting and timely payment of taxes, properly prepare documents, and ensure the availability of necessary information for inspectors.
It is worth noting that there was previously reported an attack on registries that affected the real estate market in Ukraine.
