The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has announced planned changes to the tariff classifications for education workers, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
It is noted that these changes have become possible due to the adoption of a resolution that amends the document of August 30, 2002. The resolution provides for an increase in the tariff classification for certain categories of workers, the harmonization of the names of educational institutions, and other points.
increase in tariff classifications for music leaders, physical education instructors of preschool educational institutions to 10–14 tariff classifications;
raising the lower limit of tariff classifications for heads of preschool and extracurricular educational institutions;
determination of remuneration for leaders of internal structural subdivisions of general secondary education institutions;
harmonization of the names of educational institutions with the terminology established by legislation.
The ministry emphasized that institutions managing state and municipal preschool educational institutions can set salaries for kindergarten workers that exceed the minimum level established by the government.
Plans to increase tariff classification for certain education workers in Ukraine and other changes in tariff classifications aimed at improving working conditions in the education sector.
