'They were astounded': Popenko spoke about how Ukrainian migrants impressed Poles and Germans.

Ukrainian migrants living in Europe demonstrate high productivity and readiness to work, which attracts the attention of the local population.
This was reported by Ukrainian expert Oleg Popenko during an interview with Yuriy Romanenko, analyzing the features of migration processes.
Popenko noted.“Germany is currently actively utilizing the labor resources of Ukrainian migrants and was surprised to find out that Ukrainians can actually work and are not dependent on social assistance. They seek employment. Not all, but many. It turns out that they are educated people,”
According to him, Ukrainian refugees differ from other migrants in their active desire to integrate into the local economy: “Ukrainians are going to work in factories, seeking business opportunities, creating something.”
The entrepreneurial activity of Ukrainians is particularly noticeable in Poland, where they not only successfully find jobs but also develop their own businesses.
the expert said.“Poles were genuinely surprised when they learned how much business Ukrainians have acquired and created in Poland. They even started expressing concern: ‘Oh, Ukrainians are taking our market,’”
Popenko also noted that the objections of some Europeans do not stop Ukrainian entrepreneurs: “Well, that’s fine. Our people have already gone to Germany to develop their business. If you don’t want them in your country, there will be other countries.”
The expert emphasized that in many cases, Ukrainians find it more convenient to be abroad than to be internally displaced within Ukraine: “Ukrainians are better received abroad in many countries. They receive more financial support and assistance there than inside Ukraine.”
