Enemy losses as of October 6, 2024 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of October 6, 2024
In the war with Ukraine, the Russian Federation as of October 6 lost:
- personnel ‒ about 660,470 (+1,250) people,
- tanks ‒ 8,919 (+3) units,
- armored fighting vehicles ‒ 17,679 (+21) units,
- artillery systems – 19,092 (+55) units,
- MLRS – 1,216 (+0) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 970 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 368 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 16,578 (+49),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2,613 (+0) units,
- ships /boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 26,006 (+101) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,363 (+19).

Occupant fleet activity as of October 6
- In the Black Sea, there are 2 enemy ships capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 3 enemy ships, of which 2 are capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 20 missiles.
During the day, the Kerch Strait passage was carried out in the interests of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea – 10 vessels, of which 7 continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – 5 vessels, of which 1 was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems.
Today marks the 956th day of full-scale war in Ukraine.
Recall, the situation on the front remains extremely tense. Russian troops have intensified offensive operations in eastern Ukraine, achieving some successes in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting active counterattacks in the north, in the Kursk region, trying to push back the enemy.
