The Ukrainian U-20 youth team suffered a defeat in a friendly match against Latvia with a score of 78:83. This was the fourth game in preparation for the European Championship in Division A. Players from Ukraine stood out with good rebounding results but lost in turnovers and accurate shots.

The best players of the team were Luka Lokhmanychuk, who scored 17 points, and Maksym Klychko with 15 points. Daniil Syypalo and Yegor Sushkin also stood out with almost double-doubles. In previous matches, the team won against Estonia and Georgia.

The Ukrainian team is preparing for the European Championship, which starts in Lithuania on June 10. The coaching staff is working with 16 players, and only 12 of them will make it to the final roster for the tournament in Greece.

At the European Championship, all 16 teams will go through the group stage, after which the playoffs will begin. The best will compete for medals, while the worst will fight for the right to remain in Division A.
