The Ukrainian biathlon team announced the lineup for the mixed relays of the first stage of the World Cup.

The lineup of the biathlon team has already been determined for the starting stage of the World Cup in Kontiolahti. Artem Tyshchenko, Olena Horodna (competing in the single mixed) and Vitaliy Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko, Khrystyna Dmytrenko, and Yulia Dzhima (in the mixed relay) will participate in the competitions. The team leader Dmytro Pidruchnyi will not be able to help the team.
The first competitions of the season will start on November 30. Biathletes will take to the start in mixed and single mixed relays. Almost all types of competitions will be held in Kontiolahti - relays, sprint, mass start, and individual race. The exception will be the pursuit race.

It is worth mentioning that Russian biathletes have faced a serious shortage of quality foreign cartridges, which significantly impacts their results.
