Demobilization in Ukraine: when soldiers fighting since 2022 will be withdrawn from the front.

The Deputy Minister of Defense found a solution for replacing servicemen at the front
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk reported that the development of a rotation mechanism for servicemen participating in the full-scale invasion is nearing completion.
'The work on the mechanism is nearing completion in case there is a need to replenish human resources for the preparation and replacement of troops currently performing tasks in combat zones. Regarding a gradual replacement, starting with those servicemen who have been performing tasks since 2022,' Havryliuk stated during the question hour for the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the Deputy Minister, the rotation will only take place if there is a sufficient number of ready servicemen available to replace units at the front. He also noted that 'busification is a disgraceful phenomenon, and we are doing everything to avoid this.'
The Ministry of Defense is working on solving the problem of troop shortages at the front lines. One of the options is to create units composed of servicemen aged 18-24 who have enlisted in the army under contract.
'In addition, recruitment centers have been opened, and work is underway to attract foreigners to perform tasks in combat zones on our territory. Currently, there are already more than 50 recruitment centers operating in the regions and cities of Ukraine to also attract citizens of Ukraine on a voluntary basis. Work in this direction is ongoing,' emphasized Havryliuk.
